For the processing of small parts, it is strictly forbidden for the operator's fingers, wrists, or other parts of the body to extend into the mold area; for the processing of large parts, if the operator has to work in the mold by hand, it is necessary to reduce the scope of the mold as much as possible. The time that a certain part of the body stays in the mold should be shortened as much as possible, the scope of the mold processing danger zone should be clearly defined, and the necessary protective measures and devices should be provided.

It is not allowed to have the phenomenon of scrap or workpiece missiles in the process of processing, which will affect the operator's attention or even injure the operator. In addition, it is necessary to avoid cutting the hands from the burrs of the blanking parts. The operator is not allowed to have an excessive range of motion during the punching operation, to avoid the posture that makes the body lose stability; it is not allowed to have excessive and over-accurate movements during the operation. Strong noise and vibration during stamping should be avoided as much as possible. The plastic mold design should indicate the mold weight on the general drawing to facilitate installation and ensure safety. For parts over 20 kg, lifting and handling measures should be taken to reduce labor intensity. It should be convenient and safe to assemble and disassemble the mold processing parts to avoid the possibility of hand clamping and cutting; the plastic mold should be easy to disassemble and store.
